BANKRUPTCY CHAPTERS 7 & 13:

The McKay Law Office continues as the only lawfirm in Avoyelles Parish, LA, handling bankruptcy cases as debtors' counsel.  We have 35 years experience in this area.  Mr. McKay filed his first individual debtor bankruptcy while a law clerk for the firm of Tureau & Mire (Gonzales, LA) during law school.  You must live and file your case in the bankruptcy district & geographic division of your local Bankruptcy Court.  If you move, you must have lived at your new address for at least 3 months, with intent to remain there indefinitely, in order to be considered a resident.  Our office can answer general bankruptcy questions even if you do not live in Louisiana.

We promise the best rates and the most personal service of any lawfirm, in any area of law, that you can find anywhere.  You are not just a number to us, and you won't be just placed on an assembly line.  We will return your phone calls, remain attentive to your case and treat you as an individual.
